Before the infamous “Decision”  of 2010, I was inspired to paint this shirt depicting two men who have embodied the future of NBA Basketball.  My goal was to catch two competitors of equal caliber matching up against each other and perhaps sharing a little trash talk before the next play.

I used Tulip Fabric paint from Michael’s and a couple of student grade brushes.

My favorite part of the piece is the gold paint used to outline Lebron’s jersey.

As you will come to see, I normally sign my works once for every major color used in the painting, especially when painting T-shirts.

Here I’ve used five colors apart from the skintones.  I truly enjoyed painting this work and look forward to painting a collection.
